Weekend Road Trip Part II

We woke up early Saturday morning to begin our journey for the day. Today we would reach our destination in Chattanooga, Tennesee. Our first stop of the day was at Little Grand Canyon of Georgia. Located in Lumpkin Georgia inside Providence Canyon State Park. It's such a beautiful site. I really want to go back one day and do the 3 mile hike. Until then I get to enjoy these beautiful photos.

We got back on the road and headed into Peachtree, Georgia to meet Kadie the Cow. There are apparently many kitschy cows along roadways throughout America and we found 2 on this trip. Kadie was the first. Situated atop of a hill in front of a Best Buy store.

We went over to Pechtree Mall which was located in the parking lot next to Best Buy to see about some lunch. Unfortunately this mall did not offer much as far as food options and we quickly left and headed to the Burger King across the street. It was a really cool one too. It was themed as a train station inside.

After lunch we piled into the car and headed to a familiar little town. You may have seen it in such movies as Fried Green Tomatoes, Driving Miss Daisy, and the 2011 remake of Footloose. Most notable, if you're a fan of The Walking Dead, you know this town as Woodbury, GA. That's right. My fangirl of daughter flipped her lid when we arrived here. Jumping out of the car barely giving us a chance to put it in park. On Main St. of Senoia, GA you'll fine The Woodbury Shoppe, an official Walking Dead store. Beneath the store is a mini museum housing different props from the show and lots of cast autographs along the walls.

Amara next to the autograph of Norman Reedus, Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead.

I found this one quite funny. It was a line Tyrese said in the show.

After Amara got herself a few souvenirs we headed back to the car and continued on our long journey. This would be our last and final stop before we hit...
