Incoming #141
From my Disney Penpals and Postcard Pals group I received this cool little note and bracelet from Emilee in New York. The bracelet and artwork surrounding the note is inspired by my favorite villain, Maleficent!

I got some mail today from my penpal Melissa in Vermont today. She sent me some stickers, a card, two letters, a necklace, and 5 vintage postcards. I can't wait to write her back and tell her how much I liked everything!

Going Out #61 and #62
I found time to catch up on some penpal writing today. I'm sending a letter out to Karen in Hong Kong and John in the United Kingdom.
In John's package he is getting 3 postcards, a Florida magnet, and a handful of used stamps that were duplicates in my collection.
Karen will be receiving a couple park maps and guides from Epcot and Hollywood Studios, a passport from Holidays Around The World at Epcot, a handful of Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom cards, some Frankenweenie cards, and a Maleficent button.

Incoming #46
A few days ago I received two envelopes from my new friend Melissa in Vermont. One had a Christmas card enclosed and the other held little trinkets, a notecard, and a vintage postcard of the Bridge of Lions in St. Augustine!
The first envelope had a 2012 Forever Liberty stamp with a cute Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer cancellation over it.
The second envelope held two 2014 Abraham Lincoln stamps and a 2009 Liberty Bell First Class stamp.

Going Out #7
So I finally had a chance to write and respond to Melissa Cobb in Vermont. I sent her a letter, a vintage postcard, a sticker sheet of owls, and 4 stamps from my collection that were duplicates. I made the envelope from a page out of a magazine. I added durability to it with a sheet of white copy paper. I used a paint chip for the address label and affixed it to the envelope with a cute little turkey sticker and clear packing tape. I hope she likes what I've sent her and look forward to her correspondence back.

Mail Call October 18
This past week was an excellent week for mail. I received a total of four postcards and a letter from my penpal in China and Amara received one postcard.
I received my first postcard from Indonesia this week. That's another country to mark off the map!
Received a nice vintage ad card from New York.
This one traveled from Germany.
I received ANOTHER vintage Disney postcard. I swear I love these old, vintage postcards. Also it's from my favorite attraction at Disney, The Haunted Mansion! So cool to get! This came from Illinois, United States.
And below is the great letter I got from Zhang Meng, my penpal in China. She sent some nice little goodies that I truly enjoyed!
She sent me One Yuan.
Also two bookmarks made from postcards.
Here below is a photo of two postcards she made, some stationery sheets, and the stamped envelope everything came in.
Oh and she also sent me this rad Frozen poster. I gave this to Amara to hang on her wall. So cool! I love Disney stuff from other countries as it's quite difficult to get overseas Disney merch here in the states without paying an arm and a leg for it.
Here is the one postcard Amara got this week. It came from Germany. Can you tell she likes getting postcards with cats on them?
