Characters of the Week

This weeks characters of the week are the two most popular ladies in all of the Kingdom, Anna and Elsa from Frozen. Since their debut and wildly rise of the popularity of the movie the lines to meet these two have gone into excess of at least 7 hours. Thankfully I haven't waited more than 30 minutes either time. Our first time was back in November of 2013. The girls had just debuted at the park, the movie hadn't been released yet and I was told by the character attendant at the front of the line that it was at least a 1 hour wait. I said what the heck, they're new and it's just going to get worse after the movie. So Amara and I hopped in line ready to wait an hour. After about 20 minutes we were at the threshold of their meet and greet. Two families in front uf us and then it was our turn. One thing I've learned about Disney is NEVER TRUST POSTED WAIT TIMES! We got in there, met with the two new mysterious girls who we new little about. Fast forward a few months later after the movie is released and you could watch mothers and fathers running from the entrance of Epcot to get to these girls. Kids in strollers, on shoulders, and in arms and parents full force running like this. It was quite entertaining to say the least, but little did they know by the time they got there at park opening, it was already a 2 and a half hour wait. No thanks to people who made dining reservations early in the morning and skipped them just to have a spot in line. Then Walt Disney World decides that for the safety of others they would move the duo over to Princess Fairytale Hall at the Magic Kingdom. Did that stop the runners? That's a big fat NOPE! Lines still exceeded multiple hours. I booked a fastpass for Amara and myself to go meet the ladies again on our most recent trip earlier this month. Now since then they have split the girls up  and meet with guests individually to try and make the line move faster. I suggest if you have a little one who just HAS to meet them get a fastpass if you are able. Wait times I believe are down to about 2 hours max, but at least it's not 5+. Just remember, is a multi-hour wait worth it on your vacation?
