Celebrating the Lunar New Year - Disney Style

We recently pulled my daughter out of public school and placed her in a home school program. She now attends Florida Virtual School Online. I told her on days that I am off we will do fun, but educational field trips to get out of the house. The first one we did was to Epcot to learn about the Lunar New Year (or Chinese New Year). I made a worksheet for her to fill out regarding history and fun facts about the holiday.

After she finished her worksheet we grabbed some lunch and kept within the Chinese New Year theme. We had orange chicken and potstickers.

Afterwards we headed on over to Hollywood Studios for Characterpalooza, to ride some rides, and enjoy some more food.

This was my moms first time riding Tower of Terror. Her reaction is priceless I think. We then grabbed some food and went off to see the Cinderella carriage.

I had the BBQ Pulled Pork Macaroni and Cheese. It was alright, not great. I still love the Pot Roast Macaroni and Cheese over at Friar's Nook inside Magic Kingdom the best.
