The second day of our journey wasn't quite as exciting as the first. We did manage to find a couple cool things though. Near our motel was a museum dedicated to space research. Out front they had these space shuttle parts and a model space ship.
After exploring the space shuttle parts for a few minutes we made our way to Christmas, Florida. We stopped at Jungle Adventures hoping to go inside for a tour. Unfortunately admission was way out of our budget for this one, and the main attraction for me was right out front anyhow.
After a brief disappointment we made our trek down the road and came across this permanent Christmas display alongside the road.
We got out and took a few pictures and just drove down the road. We ended up at Downtown Disney to finish the day. I went over to the Co-Op to purchase some postcards and ended my day with a big smile on my face. This was truly one of the best Mother's Day I've ever had. Thank you Jesse for planning such a wonderful trip and thank you Amara for being such a beautiful and bright daughter. I love you both tremendously...to Pluto and back, because the Moon is just too close. I love you both.
